The children have had lots of fun in the snow recently.

We have observed similarities and differences and talked about changes in the world around us. We have also introduced other climates and cultures, with a focus on the North and South Poles. We have learned about the lives of the Inuit People and found out about the animals that live in the snow and ice.

We also took the opportunity to have some fun and play in the snow. One of the activities we carried out was making Snow Angels, which is a great activity to target the tactile system, our sense of touch, as the children learn about textures and temperatures as the snow moves under there arms and legs.

The children also learned about safety different dangers that can occur with snow.
